This lovely girl was a PMU mare, she was a brood mare, bred for the harvest of the estrogen in her urine for hormone replacement for women. Being confined most of her life, she now enjoys living in a large pasture.

Koa is a gentle giant, he may be tall but he is a level headed lovebug. Koa is a Hawaiian name that means " warrior" or " brave". It is also the name of a Hawaiian acacia tree with a rich red wood used for making canoes, fine furniture and jewelry.

Flour came to use from the Marin Humane Society. She came in with Salty and Barley and all 3 were neglected. She is an energetic, healthy pony that powers down the trail.

Apache is a funny little pony. He is not keen on kisses on the nose but he does love cookies!

Sugar was originally trained as a western pleasure show horse. She prefers the wide open spaces of trail riding more than arena work.

Cy is one of Sarahbeth's personal horses. He is a very lively pony and a guide favorite. You can often see him playing with other horses in the pasture.
Cash and Cheetah are best friends. Cash was also a race horse, his career was not successful. He was more interested in grazing in the pasture and snuggling .
Cheetah is a retired race horse that traded his racing shoes in for hiking boots. His racing career was short with 14 starts (races). In those 14 races he ran 1st 4 times, ran 2nd 4 times and ran #rd 2 times. Very impressive!
Lucas is king of the pasture! He is a confident leader and loves his job! His favorite trail snack is the purple flowers on thistle.
Honeydew is very talkative and has a great " laugh". She is sweet and loving!
Willy is a bit shy and he is working to become a guide horse. He is very handsome and very willing. He will make a great horse.
Dottie is a very well trained young lady. She is independent and a terrific guide horse.
